Where the hell have I been
Hey everyone how’s is it going? I hope good for all of you.
So where and the hell have I been?
Wow it’s been kind of a crazy last 5 months and I just have not had much time for poker. Don’t worry this web site is not dead; I have just had a ton going on. My father passed away back in late March, he fought a 6 year battle with cancer, and after 6 years that shit got the best of him. After my dad passed it just kind of put me in a strange place and poker was not on my mind at all, when I did play, my head was just not into it so I just kind of took some time away from it.
Then in June my oldest son graduated from high school and is getting ready to start college at Northwood University in Midland in late August. With an open house for him, and getting everything set for him to start school, it took a ton of my time and more away from poker. With Tyler completing high school and getting set for college is a strange time. I feel happy and proud of him for getting his first phase of schooling done and moving onto the next, but then I feel kind of depressed at the same time that he is growing up and leaving home, kind of crazy I know. If you d0n’t have kids or have not had a kid move out yet, you won’t really understand what I am saying here, but one day you will.
Now with my son all set to go August 20th and everything else in my little world moving towards even keel, it’s time to get my poker game back going again and get ready for the poker season, it’s coming on quick, and I hope to see some of you this year at one of the many Michigan poker rooms.
