Updates are Complete

Most of the changes are done. Michigan Card Player has been down for the last 24 hrs. for site changes and updates. We THINK we have most of the bugs worked out but only live time will tell (if you find anything not working or get some type of errors please use the contact us form located under “Site Info” to let us know about it).

One of the changes is a new color scheme, the dark colors we just getting kind of old, so we thought we would change them. Let us know what you think of it.

Then the next change is a new rating system, the old rating system only let you give the room an over all rating. I think we can all agree that’s not the best system, you could have a room with great room quality but very little player traffic, but the single rating would not reflect that. Now you can rate the room on 5 different categories. During the rating system upgrade a lot of the current ratings did not import due to the fact of going from single rating to multi-rating, so when you get a chance please take a moment to rate the rooms you have played in with our new rating system.

Also, we have added a touch of social networking to the site. In the top navigation menu there is a link called “Socialize” this will take you to the social side of the site where you can post updates, add and make new poker friends and all that good stuff. Take a moment to check it out and update your profile or register for the site if you have not done so yet.

We are also working with some content writers to help with getting new and fresh poker strategy articles to help take your game to the next level.

If you have not signed up to receive our RSS feed in you email, sign up today with the form on the upper right of any of Michigan Card Player’s web pages and be up to date on new articles posted, new charity poker rooms listed and any other site updates.

Till next time…..Keep ‘em guessing
