Playing in Micro-Stakes Hell

Good day all. Well one part of my plan to reach my poker bankroll goal is to play low limit cheap poker on Full Tilt. I am stuck at the micro-stakes because of my current bankroll being a joke, but it is what it is. I am going to do my best to stick with good bankroll management but I must say playing at these levels in hard to do.
What I am doing is playing some .02/.05 micro-stakes full ring cash games, also playing in some 1.00 + .0.25 sit n go’s (I only play the 9 handed not the 6 handed), also I have been playing in the Daily Dollar. The Daily Dollar on Full Tilt for those of you who don’t know is a $1.00 tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000. I figure if I play in those and make it deep, it could be huge for my bankroll. In the Daily Dollar 1st pays $1,599, 2nd pays $1,000, 3rd pays $600, I forget the rest of it all, I do know it pays to 1,080 place. Getting on some kind of good run here and going deep into the cash would let me move up in stakes real quick. Now the bad thing is you get around 7,000 people playing in it so you need luck on your side to go deep, but you never know.
Like I said I have been playing in the micro-stakes cash games and I must say it’s kinda feels weird to be sitting here multi-tabling .02/.05, and the same thing with the sin n go’s. I have been holding my own with them however I have added a bit more to my bank roll but not enough to really sit here and brag about, but it is better than sitting here telling all of you how bad I have been running. One thing about the micro-stakes and cheap SNG’s is all you really have to do is play ABC poker, and not try any real moves. The players at this level would not know a move if they saw one so why take the chance. They are going to just call you down even with bottom pair. So the best thing to do is just play your good starting hands pay attention to position and when you hit a hand value bet them all the way to the river because they are calling you down with shit.
I have a goal of playing 2,100 hands a week that’s only 300 hands a day, but it still takes time, so I am going to end here for now and get back to playing some poker.
Till next time,
Joe….
